My way of working

First of all, we engage in a conversation in which I try to identify your exact question. Who are you? What are you looking for? What do you want to tell and to whom? What kind of business do you have or want to be? Etc. To create a design that suits your needs, I need your input.

My design process generally has 3 phases. The first phase is the concept phase. Everything starts with a good idea and a pencil drawing. In an initial visual brainstorm, I scribble down my ideas. I link those ideas back to you and we discuss them. Upon agreement, with additional input, I move on to phase two.

Phase two is the design phase. I develop the chosen idea into a design sketch. Composition, style, details, a proposal for the colours, these are crystallised in this part of the process and, of course, discussed. Again after agreement, and taking new feedback into mind, I move on to phase three.

In phase three, I develop the sketch into a final product and prepare the files needed for the format for which the designs are made.

Why do I work this way? Your input is super important to me. This way, you can adjust and influence every part of the process. There are no surprises at the end and you end up with a design that suits your needs.
