It looked like a scene from a romantic film where two lovers met. Time stood still, people stopped talking and violins, cellos and double basses played. The details of who exactly stepped on whom have been watered down in the years that followed, but the illustrating Tim and the poetic René were eager to marry each other artistically.
A special friendship developed between two dedicated artists who both wanted to become masters of their craft. In the eight years that followed their wedding night, they created five collections together, a card box and a birthday calendar. In autumn 2022, they completed the book that is the ultimate testament to their passionate marriage: No Man's Land. In this book, visual texts about our sins, virtues and absurdities are interwoven with poetic illustrations, making the whole much more than the sum of its parts.
